The World to Come: Edtech, education of the future

“The World to Come” is a monthly meeting point for all types of companies, both innovative and traditional, that wish to stay ahead of new business and social trends.

A new session took place on 25 May entitled “Edtech, education of the future”, which explored how these challenges are being addressed in relation to future education, and what resources are being used. The participants were: Clara Torrijos, CEO & Founder of Koanly, José Manuel Martínez, CEO of Medicarama, Josep Martinez Moles, Director of Masters and Bootcamps at EDEM Business School, and Marcos García Pascual, COO of Kokoro Kids, moderated by Rosa Gorriz, CEO & Founder of Stellium Business School.

Clara Torrijos, CEO & Founder of Koanly, noted that: “The emergence of #AI in education is fuelling a debate about whether the current education model is the most appropriate for the level of innovation to which children now have access”.

As José Manuel Martínez, CEO of Medicarama put it: “Educational tools are undoubtedly going to evolve and will be more reliable, but responsibility will always require a human signature”.

Josep Martinez Moles, Director of Masters and Bootcamps at EDEM, pointed out that: “The key thing is speed. Things are moving so fast that it is hard to say where they will go. #Sustainability and technology are key areas that need to be addressed now”.

And Marcos García Pascual, COO of Kokoro Kids, stated that: “The goal is to make screen time high quality and ensure that girls and boys can learn during the process”.
