The 31st edition of SIConnect was held on 10 July at Hub Empresa Valencia. This initiative, organised by València Innovation Capital, Ajuntament de València and Banco Sabadell’s BStartup, brought together startups of all stages together with private investors in an atmosphere of exchange and collaboration. It also had the support of important entities such as Startup Valencia, CEEI Valencia, StartupXplore and the Cátedra Cultura Empresarial UV. These institutions joined forces to support the initiative between startups and investors in search of new opportunities.

The event began with a welcome by Lucía Calabri, and Ángel Buigues, Startup Advisor of BStartup of Banco Sabadell.

The three finalist startups were:

• Editorial Aula: a company that applies new technologies in primary education.
• Lodgerin: platform for booking temporary rentals
• World Challenge Game: an innovative interactive game that combines strategy and general culture.

Each of them had the opportunity to present their projects and capture the attention of the investors present.

The #ConversationsConnect also took place with Ángel Buigues and Javier Servera, co-founder and deputy director of #Linkener, a company that has developed its own meters that allow monitoring and detailing the energy performance of a company and establishing parameters to reduce it. Servera highlighted how their energy efficiency platform has scaled up in a regulated market with a long-term financial strategy. 

The jury, composed of leading investment and entrepreneurship experts, included Vicente Ruiz from TBig, Celia Viana from Angels and Juan Castillo from Guruwalk. Their experience and expertise provided valuable insight during the competition. 

At the end of the day, it was World Challenge Game who was proclaimed the winner of the event.
