The Global Omnium auditorium in Sevilla hosted on 29th January a new edition of the meeting between investors and entrepreneurs SIConnect.
Powered by Go Hub Tech, the Junta de Andalucía and Banco Sabadell’s BStartup, this benchmark event seeks to give visibility to startups who want to find investors to start their project or continue to grow.
Pitch 5 + 5
With Roger Blanch, from BStartup, María Gil, from Go Hub Tech, and Jesús Velasco, from the Junta de Andalucía, welcoming the event, the four finalist startups had 5 minutes to submit their projects.
- Whaterapp – This startup helps users to locate and query reliable water quality information through geolocation.
- Vestigia: This traceability platform certifies the authenticity of products via blockchain, which allows you to control a product from its manufacture to its sale in real time.
- Konversat.io: A digital assistant that connects diners and restaurants by voice and chat via their smart bot.
- MyKeysToday: an app that allows you to always carry your keys with you. With just two photos you can have the key digitized and available for when you need it.
The jury for this edition was Patricia Pastor, Managing Director of Go Hub Tech, Carlos Lora, Founder of Espacio RES, Macarena González Mira, Venture Capital Manager of StartupLab Spain, and Antonio Molina, Program Coordinator of Entrepreneurship of the Department of Economy of the Junta de Andalucía. Following the deliberation of the jury members, the winning startup was Vestigia.

“IA, the Deep Tech that attracts investment”
The session also featured the conversation between Pablo Enciso, Founder & CEO of Predictiva, and Josep Guitart, Investment Analyst of Sabadell Venture Capital of Banco Sabadell.
Predictiva, a company owned by Sabadell Venture Capital, is a startup that has developed a technology based on machine learning and natural language, which structures and analyzes information. “Our value is to turn a piece of telephone audio into data that is useful to businesses,” said Enciso.
After an interesting talk, SIConnect Sevilla ended with a networking session.
Thanks to all the attendees and organizers of SIConnect Sevilla and we look forward to seeing you next time.
