Abrebox wins SIConnect Valencia

On October 30th, the first SIConnect of the season was held at the Sabadell Hub Empresa in Valencia. The meeting between investors and startups promoted by VIT Emprende and BStartup Banco Sabadell returned to the city with an excellent program and promising startups.

The day started with the presentation of the three finalist companies of this edition, in search of investment and visibility in the ecosystem.

  • Okywatch: This startup designs and develops simple and easy to use GPS communication devices. The OkyWatch has been created for children between 6 and 11 with the purpose of offering them a form of communication that gives them the necessary security while their autonomy grows and have fun.
  • Internxt: This young company is based on P2P technology and aims to compete with US technology giants. Its target is to create a decentralized cloud in which its users store encrypted fragments of the files of other users, and even apps and websites.
  • Abrebox: This emerging company offers an intelligent video door entry service that allows you to see, speak and open the door to your visitors from your smartphone from anywhere. In addition, it offers the possibility of managing the ups and downs of landlords and tenants, eliminating building wiring among other services.

After the jury’s deliberation, formed by economist Javier Iborra, lawyer Cristina Martínez and Anna Carrau Mínguez, founder and CEO of Upbeat Modus, Abrebox won, which grants them an accompaniment bonus between the two collaborating entities, the Asociación Valenciana de Startups and Big Ban Angels.

Likewise, each of the three companies received two tickets for the next 4YFN.

On this occasion, the SIConnect Investor & Startup Connect, which highlights real cases between corporates and startups, had the conversation between Araceli Císcar, from Grupo Dacsa, and SinBlat, a company specializing in fresh and gluten-free bread and flour products invested by Grupo Dacsa.

Do not miss the next SIConnect Valencia, which will be held on December 12th at the Sabadell Hub Company!
